Your food scraps hold so much potential.

We use worms to transform food scraps into living soil in the ATL metro.

Food scraps are the largest component of landfilled material in the U.S., making up about a quarter of the waste. As food scraps decompose in these landfills, they emit methane, a powerful greenhouse gas contributing to climate change.

There is another way. By composting our food scraps, we create a circular economy where our waste can be used to improve soil and grow even more food!

Vermi Waste is committed to providing environmental education and community composting around the metro Atlanta area. Come join us!

Our Company

Vermi Waste LLC is a social enterprise born out of a passion for zero waste and sustainable community food systems. We educate and engage our communities about organics recycling and urban agriculture.

School Partnerships

Cultivating the next generation of earth stewards begins in K-12 schools. We are seeking partnerships with metro ATL schools that want to engage their students on zero waste practices.

Community Garden Partnerships

Fostering sustainable practices takes root in our community gardens. We seek partnerships with metro ATL community gardens to establish community composting programs that educate and involve residents in zero-waste initiatives.
